Frosting

Perfect finish of glass and more

Frosting resp. glossing numbers today among the most widely spread techniques in glass finishing. In workshops as well as in industrial series production objects are created which stand out due to their inimitable optic. The fascination is caused by the contrast of clear brilliance and matt glimmer.

Sandblast units made of Goldmann grant outstanding treatment results – with finest nuances, exact outlines and absolutely uniform surfaces. No matter whether small perfume flacons or extensive glass walls are treated.

But also other basic material like plastic for example or different metals can be frosted without problems with the blasting technology made by Goldmann. And, with that, provided with decorative surfaces.

Frosting
Frosting is a type of roughening to reach optical effects: f. ex. a very uniform surface optic or a change of light effects resp. light refraction. Here a glass sheet is frosted to provide an attractive optic.
