Glass throughput unit KASM III
Reliable realisation of ambitious effects
Pieces to be treated: glass sheets
Aim of blasting: special frosting effects
Initial situation: clear, transparent glass sheets
Assignment of task: These glass sheets are to be decorated with designs and stylings or
completely frosted. For special effects it must be possible to adjust the unit individually during
operation for blasting options. Also the absolutely uniform transport and blasting of thick-walled, heavy
glass sheets must be guaranteed.
Solution: A Goldmann glass throughput unit which completely meets all listed
requirements. The nozzle head is equipped for a surface capacity up to 20 qm/h. Further to the mechanical
adjustment of the nozzle distance the pressure as well as the speed for oscillation and beld is regulated
at the switch board. With the help of a turning knob (immediate realisation) the user can change the
blasting parameters during the process. The roller track as transportation system is also suitable for a
high glass weight, grants an uniform transport and with that a uniform blasting result. Furthermore, this
system avoids the displacement of abrasive.

Initial situation: In the present rubber belt tumbling shotblasting unit small parts are damaged or displaced in the manganese belt.
Assignment of task: Purchase of a new unit which improves the blasting result as well as the transport of the parts and reduces at the same time the noise level.
Solution: A Goldmann rubber belt tumbling shotblasting unit, equipped with a rubber belt which safely avoids the damage and displacement. The complete sound-proof enclosure of the blasting unit cares for a operation "quiet as a whisper".

Aim of blasting: sophisticated glass art; laborious designs and art work similar to screen printing
Initial situation: The present possibilities to do glass art as well as the work results do not correspond any more to the high requirements of our client
Assignment of task: Development of a new sandblast unit individually customised according
to the requirements of the client. Complex designs and defined running down should be created fully
automatic and - if requested - also manually in a constant high quality. Flexibility, simple handling and
high efficiency are further demands of the client.
Solution:: Realisation of a customised fully automatic sandblast unit which completely
comes up to all requirements of the client and even exceeds them. The pressure and step adjustment can
also be changed manually during the passage of the glass sheet. With this, structures or running downs in
the glass can be designed manually if requested. The unit grants high productivity, absolutely uniform
structures, quick retooling if the grain size is changed and a long service life of all components.
